furnishings, I am also about to
work on a boutique hotel in the
UK and 7 houses in Barbados,
so that should be really fun to do
as my client is a very successful
businessman here in the UK, and a
great person to work with. I would
love you work on more aircrafts,
which would probably mean more
staff eventually, but my work is so
varied, some small projects are
equally as exciting as larger ones,
and I am very lucky that I love
what I do so I am happy with the
way things are anyway.
Please share some of your
top Wellness secrets
I have been going to the gym and
weight training for over 30 years,
as well as a daily run of 4 miles.
I often have to get up at 5am to
get this all done, before the day
really starts with work, and even
in our lovely British weather in
wintertime, but it just proves
that when people say “ I don’t
have time” it means they are not
making the time!

on the Wellness retail Spaces
you have created? What is
the potential you see for the
Wellness retail market?
I have designed a spa and beauty
salon, it was lovely to work on as
we used very calming colours and
the layout was very simple with a
good energy flow. We also made
sure the lighting was thought
through very carefully, using
zoned areas, and lots of dimable
lighting to create a warm and calm
atmosphere. The wellness retail
market is growing rapidly. This is
of course because we are much

more aware and educated about
Wellness these days, and we are
living longer, so we want to make
sure we look after ourselves by
eating properly and healthily and
exercising regularly. There are so
many healthier foods available we
have no excuse to be unhealthy.

on Sustainability in a Luxury
Design market.
Sustainability is very important
to us. We are very careful with
who we work with as far as our
suppliers and how they deliver
items to us. It is part of our ethos
to be very intune with these
issues and believe in creating a
sustainable eco system in view of
our future generations.
