               Human Resources Overview
























                  The Human Resource department consists of one person, the President. Together with all the officers and
               members, Scribe has a total of nine members. The HR Director was tasked with managing all employee’s
















               applications, distributing stocks and keeping hold of stockholder information, scheduling the weekly











               meetings, taking minutes of the weekly meetings, and managing the member’s wages.

                  ​HR worked remotely, creating a comfortable environment for the members to deepen bonds among team













               members. We set up icebreakers for our first couple of meetings to get to know each person and learn how

































               to get along well. With the limited resources, we were able to distribute the department workload




               appropriately by letting some members be part of more than one department. To ensure attendance and























               efficient meetings, the HR Director would send out a newsletter to prepare everyone for the new business










               topics we would discuss in the next meeting. Everyone was kept updated via email, Microsoft Teams, and

















               WhatsApp. Our weekly meetings were conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. As the












               first Junior Achievement youth conducted online, our business would not have been possible without the










               commitment, determination, and the subtle friendship we have formed as a team.
