6 months prior to the Games:
• Final Roster due: Athletes indicated must originate from submitted Expanded Roster. It is the
NFs responsibility to ensure that NOMINATED Athletes and Team Officials on the final roster
meet all GNOC requirements, especially residency for Athletes (residency requirements will be
on the Residency Guidelines).
• The following documents must be included with the Final Roster for each Nominated Athlete
and Team Official:
1. GNOC Athlete/Team Official Nomination Form (both forms are Attached)
2. GNOC Residency Documents (Only for Athletes; in book format and must be picked up at
the GNOC office)
3. GNOC Handbook (in book format and must be picked up at the GNOC office)
4. GNOC Code of Conduct/Waiver
5. Copy of valid U.S. Passport (most be valid for six more months after the completion of the
Games)
6. Two 2” x 2” passport photos OR digital photo in jpg format at 75kb-125kb. No facial
expressions, no obstructions on face, head, and neck area (i.e.: sunglasses, hats, scarves,
etc.), light colored background (white/beige)
7. There is also a check list attached for you to utilize when collecting docs from nominees.
8. Note: If athlete is under the age of 18 yrs. old, parent/guardian must sign documents where
indicated.
• NFs must ensure that all pertinent information is complete, and all required signatures are on
the documents prior to submission. Incomplete documents will not be accepted. A submission
schedule will be sent to each National Federation. The NFs will be required to reserve a time to
submit documents, which will be two NFs per time slot and on a first come, first served basis. If
you do not reserve a time, you will wait until all NFs who did are completed.
• Finalize airline routes and purchase tickets, if possible.
3 Months prior to the Games:
• Original documents of Police, Court and Medical Clearance for Athletes and Team Officials are
due to GNOC.
• All athletes and officials of the respective National Federation must attend the ORADO (Oceania
Regional Anti-Doping Organization) seminar.
• If airline tickets have not been purchased, it is highly recommended to purchase tickets during
this time frame as costs will increase.
2 Months prior to the Games:
• The host organization shall present the list of official athletes to each participating country.
Each National Federation coach and officials must review the list and identify any possible
athlete residency infraction and advise GNOC. GNOC shall send an official letter of protest to
the host country for immediate action.
1 Month prior to the Games:
• A briefing will be conducted by the Chef de Mission for all Team Guam members. This meeting
is mandatory and will cover all aspects of the Games.
• Collect GNOC issued Team Guam uniform.
