FORMATION
ACTIVITIES
Formation activities are designed to help the students be
acquainted with the changes in the new normal by enhancing
their interpersonal and intrapersonal development. The
following formation activities are provided:
• Homeroom Periods. Under the guidance and facilitation of
the adviser, the class virtually meets before and after the
online learning periods for interaction and discussion of less
formal matters and concerns. These periods are provided to
ensure that the students are attuned to the daily tasks and
activities that they need to accomplish everyday.
• Consultation Periods. In the course of the online teaching and
learning processes, students may experience struggles and
concerns in their academic loads. Consultation or mentoring
periods are allotted together with the asynchronous sessions
to better monitor and remedy the difficulties that may be
encountered by the child in a particular area. Subject
teachers are made available after the synchronous periods to
facilitate the learning progress and conduct coaching to
students who need assistance.
• Guidance Periods. In light of circumstances that the pandemic
brought, self-care is of utmost importance. The guidance
program continues to assist in behavior modification and
addressing the concerns that the child may have. Regular
visits, check-ins, and a scheduled consultation or counseling
sessions will be organized by the guidance facilitator.
