ductile iron poles. DI poles are usually more expensive than wood when only comparing
first costs. However, the total cost savings and peace of mind from using ductile iron
poles comes from eliminating the frequent and high cost to change out wood poles.

approach of installing ductile iron poles for all critical
and asset poles. Due to the short life of wood poles and
