In 2017, Samaritas focused on improving our ratings in our skilled
nursing communities; deepening the depth and breadth of our employee
training; improving our financial picture by increasing occupancy and
meeting budget targets; and improving our outcomes, such as reducing
the length of stay in foster care, in our rehabilitation centers and in our
short-term skilled nursing communities.
