Samaritas will break ground soon on our Spring Lake property (near Grand Haven in northwest
Ottawa County) later this year. This new property will feature 53 units which include 43 one-
bedroom apartments and ten two-bedroom apartments. Eight of these units will be reserved for
people with special needs, and another eight of these units will be for members of the Little River
Band of Ottawa Indians.
The four-story building will be located at 732 Savidge Street and will be an ideal place for those
with limited means who want independence, privacy, and a sense of community. Funding for this
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) property was awarded to Samaritas by the Michigan
Housing State Development Authority (MSHDA). Pinnacle Construction, a Grand Rapids-based
company, is the architect and general contractor for the building.
At Samaritas, we believe that love starts with the foundation of a safe and
affordable home. Our modern spaces are available in cities all over
Michigan for individuals, seniors, and families on fixed and lower incomes.
