English Speech Contest

SKIS kickstarted the annual English Speech Contest this week, from 5-9 July 2021.
Students from every grade were required to deliver a speech on their chosen topic
with preparations done in Literacy classes. The annual English Speech Contest is
designed to improve our students' English speaking confidence and to learn by
observing other speakers. Students were encouraged to deliver their speech in an
exciting and entertaining manner, while remembering to maintain eye contact with
the audience with appropriate hand gestures. Our students also worked hard on
practicing their speed, intonation and voice projection in a classroom. We are very
proud to see all of our students trying their best and doing such an excellent job!
