DEALING WITH EMERGENCIES
• Dial 999 and wait for the police to arrive on the scene
• Consider the safety of yourself and your family first
• Do not challenge or face the perpetrators yourself
• Record everything you see or hear during the incident
• Call your friend or neighbours for help and support,
TIPS ON KEEPING SAFE
• Stay alert, and be confident - even if you don’t feel it
• Leave venues with friends and avoid trouble areas
• Have your keys to your car and home close at hand
• Keep money for taxis, or arrange other transport home
• Carry a personal alarm and use it in emergencies
