FMS LIMITATIONS

IFR enroute and terminal navigation is prohibited unless the pilot verifies
either the currency of the database or the accuracy of each selected
waypoint and navaid by reference to current approved data.
The FMS position must be checked for accuracy prior to use as a means of
navigation.
The FMS shall not be used for navigation during periods of dead reckoning.
FMS based instrument approaches must be accomplished in accordance with
approved instrument approach procedures that are retrieved from the
FMS-3000 database.
