Mid Ulster were in total control and the overall was never in doubt but the fact they achieved a
successive clean sweep showed a performance and team spirit reminiscent of the 5 in a row
era. Every member of the Mid Ulster squad deserves the highest praise for the way in which
they turned a likely defeat into a tremendous win, one which left the Pembrokeshire team won-
dering what had hit them. The final results left Mid Ulster on 56 points with 461 shots for and
406 against. Pembrokeshire finished second on 49 points with 492 shots for and 419 against.
Norfolk brought up the rear with 27 points and 360 to 488 on shots.
