Mayors Message

Dear Resident,

As I look out from the office window here at the end of January, I am thankful that we have had a mild winter
so far. I certainly hope that I do not have to eat my words by the time that you receive this magazine.

With that said, our Recreation Department is already thinking about the blooming of flowers and trees in the
spring and the warm sun of the summer. Planning programs for the next season begins right after programs end.
This Recreation Magazine is the result of months of hard work.

We have been very fortunate as we continue to see record breaking attendance at most of our programs. The
department regularly has a pulse on the needs of the diverse community here in East Brunswick. We have added
programs, changed programs, enhanced programs, and removed programs based on the needs of our residents. Our
goal remains the same – and that is to provide a wide range of classes and programs that meet the needs of an
ever-changing and connected world.

Let me thank the Recreation Department for their commitment to our mission and the hours of work to ensure
that every resident sees value in these offerings. Have a happy and safe spring/summer and thank you for making
East Brunswick such a wonderful community.
