MY VACATION TRIP TO ANDAMAN

It was my granny's 75th birthday. Granny wanted to celebrate her birthday outsta on with
the family. It was a surprise , when we told her about birthday celebra on at Andaman.

Finally the day arrived. Me and my brother were excited as it was our first journey by
aeroplane. Andaman and Nicobar is our union territory located in bay of Bengal .There are 572
islands of which only 38 are inhabited . A er reaching the Port Blair Airport, we had a short

lunch break at the hotel. And then we headed to cellular jail also known as kala pani, where
our freedom fighters were imprisoned and punished in the Bri sh rule. The laser and light
show in the evening was amazing as it enlightened us regarding the struggle of our freedom
fighters like Batukeshwar Du , Yogendra Shukla, Vinayak Savarkar to name few.

I was excited for the next day as we had to visit North Bay Island and Ross Island. We saw
beau ful marine life, colourful fishes, jelly fish, coral reef from our submarine glass window
on the North Bay Island. Radhanagar Beach we visited at swaraj deep was my favorite beach
with blue water, white sand where we swimmed and enjoyed a lot. We also visited Kala pathar

beach, famous for its scenic beauty.

Special day of my Granny’s birthday finally arrived. My granny's birthday celebra on at the
hotel at Havelock island was very memorable. Granny was overwhelmed with speech
everyone spoke for her . We enjoyed the cake, food and clicked as many photos as possible.

At Andaman, we have to travel by boat if we have to go from one island to other which was
fun. At Port Blair we visited Chidiya Tapu Beach, where we saw many different types of birds.

I wanted to spend few more days in the nature but our return flight was booked.

I captured every moment of journey in my memory and boarded the flight. It was a fun trip,
always to be cherished for rest of my life.
