❖ Ascending order:

Ordering numbers from the least to the greatest.

For example:

12 , 11 , 0 , 14 , 9

The order : 0 , 9 , 11 , 12 , 14

❖ Descending order:

Ordering numbers from the greatest to least.

For example:

5 , 14 , 10 , 4 , 11

The order : 14 , 11 , 10 , 5 , 4
