The Master Plan is to capitalize on the three land
parcels totalling 174 hectares. The Masterplan is
aimed to serve approximately 80,000 people includ-
ing inhabitants and workers. The principles of the
town planning for Ronggui East Riverside New
Town believe in the establishment of public space,
pedestrian scale and neighbourhood identity.
