Scenario: Pookie the Popular Puppy
Pookie was a very popular puppy at school. She hung out with all the Hot doggs that the lit’l pups looked up to. One day the principal announced there was going to be a new book club forming. Anyone interested could sign up after school.
Pookie had a love for reading and was excited to sign up, but her friends in class weren’t aware of her passion for books. As the announcement bellowed over the loud speaker all the popular puppies joked and laughed about the ‘book club’. Whoopty Dawg hollard, “what a bunch a squares!”
Pookie realized how her friends felt and was torn between doing what she wanted and loved, and being accepted by the popular puppies.
