Member Outreach and Diversity Director
Tricia is responsible for outreach efforts, with specific
emphasis on the following: furthering organizational
diversity goals, objectives and strategies that produce
best practices and help to promote inclusiveness;
strengthening local and specialty bar relationships
through supporting bar programming, membership and

Mary Ann Wegmann
Specialization Board Director
Working closely with the Louisiana Board of
Legal Specialization (“LBLS”), that is appointed
by the LSBA Board of Governors, Mary Ann
is responsible for the overall administration of
the legal specialization program and executing
LBLS administrative policies and directives. Mary Ann Wegmann business bankruptcy law, consumer bankruptcy
LBLS, a voluntary organization, promotes the
availability, accessibility and quality of the
services of lawyers in particular fields of the
law in order to better serve the public interest
and improve public access to appropriate legal
services and to advance the standards of the legal
profession by encouraging specialized education

George assists the Director of Member Outreach and
Diversity through administrative duties, with various
aspects of the operation of the LSBA in furtherance
of organizational diversity goals, objectives, and
strategies that produce best practices and help to
promote inclusiveness. George also provides staff

Nicholas J. Green
Outreach Coordinator
Nicholas is primarily responsible for establishing and
specialty associations to enhance or expand programs
and activities that benefit Louisiana lawyers. Nicholas
also researches proposed member benefits and makes
recommendations on their potential value to LSBA
members. Additionally, he assists with the implementation
of diversity initiatives. Nicholas joins the LSBA staff in
May 2023.

is to regulate and administer all matters pertaining
to specialization in the practice of law and to
regulate the certification of lawyers as specialists
in accordance with LBLS rules and regulations
and to regulate the certification of lawyers as
specialists by certifying agencies. There are
currently nine specializations: appellate practice,
law, employment law, estate planning and
administration, family law, health law, labor law
and tax law. Mary Ann joined the staff in 2017.
