HON. RANDALL L. BETHANCOURT The LCLCE is pleased to provide you and the LSBA Board of Governors with a
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT report on the activities of the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education
(LCLCE). As set forth below, the LCLCE continues to promote and support
educational programming in support of the rule of law in a variety of ways.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Several members of the LCLCE Board of Directors and the LCLCE Executive

Director participated in two virtual meetings with Chief Justice Weimer’s
W. THOMAS ANGERS Louisiana Supreme Court Task Force for Judges in the Classroom program. The
LAWRENCE J. CENTOLA, III Executive Director participated in the four-hour Louisiana Bar Foundation
Grantee Board & Staff Training. The LCLCE hosted an exhibition booth at the
HON. SYLVIA R. COOKS Louisiana School Boards Annual Conference in Baton Rouge. Several
HON. SCOTT J. CRICHTON Lawyers/Judges in the Classroom presentations were organized benefiting 128
students. The Executive Director accompanied Chief Justice Weimer to the
BRIAN ENGERON Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Superintendents’
ALLISON C. FOSTER Advisory Council’s March meeting in Baton Rouge.

Plans are underway for a four-hour law-related education CLE at the Louisiana
JEFFREY D. HUFFT State Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and Summer School in June, and the
Justice Catherine D. Kimball Summer Institute in July.
