class on February 23, 2022. Earlier that

WARREN EASTON CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL
th JDC Judge June Berry Darensburg
24visited two 12th-grade Civics classes
at Warren Easton Charter High School. Each
classroom had approximately 15-20 students.
Judge Darensburg discussed the distinction of
federal and state courts, the structure of the
Louisiana court system, the three branches of
government, and Article 3 of the Constitution.
The visit was coordinated with the students’
teacher, Mr. Scott St. Pierre.
