Loretta:
The JLAP Board has provided its input with respect to replacement of current JLAP members whose
terms are expiring. Four of the current board members have recommended Judge Papillion and Eddie
McAuliffe. Three of the current board members have recommended Judge Tim Marcel. It was also
pointed out that while the JLAP by-laws require 2 judges, it is not a cap and there is no specific
prohibition against more than 2 judges.
Of course, the decision is up to the LSBA BOG. We appreciate the opportunity to provide our input.
