JLAP ACTIVITY REPORT PERIOD: SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, AND NOVEMBER 2023

• Statistics on the Number of Individuals Assisted and the Type of Assistance

• 92 individuals were assisted in September, October, and November 2023

• Over 536 individuals participated in CLEs where Dr. Bazile presented and informed of JLAP’s

confidential services

Type of assistance:

• 65- ongoing case management
• 3 - referred for individual therapy
• 11 - referred for an evaluation
• 7 - Information given about services and/or community resources
• 1 – referrals haven’t called our office
• 5 – advised of mental health, intervention, and grief therapy for staff and family
• 0 - referred straight to treatment

Approximately 5 of these cases are straight Mental Health cases, 64 are comorbid (including
both Mental Health and Substance Use components), 23 are pending, and 0 are staff and
family referrals.

• Speaking Engagements of JLAP Staff Members and Associated Costs

• Dr. Angela White-Bazile presented at the LSBA Stress Management Summit in New
Orleans in September 2023. Expenses: $57.63 Mileage and Toll.

• Dr. Angela White-Bazile presented at the Shreveport Bar Association / Foundation in
Shreveport in September 2023. Expenses: $497.56 - Hotel, Travel, Meals.

• Dr. Angela White-Bazile presented at the U.S. Attorney’s Office Tyson Training Room
District Annual CLE in Baton Rouge, September 2023. Expenses: $93.47 – Mileage.

• Dr. Angela White-Bazile presented at Crescent Care, LA Bar Association - Conference
Room, New Orleans in October 2023. Expenses: $57.63 Mileage and Toll.
