Sections
The LSBA has 30 sections established by areas of practice. Membership is open to any active
member of the LSBA and is completely voluntary. The sections give attorneys the opportunity to
interact with other attorneys in their area of practice to gain the benefit of their experience.

Young Lawyers Division Liaison
The Young Lawyers Division Council leads the Young Lawyers Division to foster discussions and
interchange of ideas relative to the duties, responsibilities and problems of the younger members of
the legal profession in Louisiana; to aid in their advancement; to encourage their interest and
participation in the activities of the Louisiana State Bar Association; and, in general, to further the
purposes and objectives of the LSBA.

Services
• Developing and producing all internal publications (print and electronic), all external media
releases and all in-house promotional materials.
• Organizing media coverage for LSBA activities.
• Coordinating all LSBA marketing efforts, including advertising sales for all publications and
securing sponsors for LSBA events.
• Marketing all LSBA products and services, via print publications and website.
• Oversee planning and coordination of Annual Meeting.
• Oversee planning and coordination of Midyear Meeting.
