o Photos were posted of the 1L Professionalism Orientations put
on at each of the four Louisiana law schools.
▪ Defend judicial decisions which are attacked in the press by defending
the process and the rule of law (rather than defending the actual
outcome);
▪ Promote the Secret Santa program to lawyers and the public; and
o The program was promoted via LSBA social media outlets and
LSBA publications. Photos were posted on social media
highlighting that 646 children were “adopted” for the holidays by
the legal community.
▪ Share the articles that are published in the Louisiana Bar Journal
about the Rule of Law and the good works of Louisiana Lawyers.
At this time, no Journal articles on rule of law topics have been shared.
But articles published in the Journal on “the good works of Louisiana
lawyers” are distributed to local media outlets. These articles include
installation of LSBA and YLD leaders, Annual Meeting award
recipients, Pro Bono Award recipients, YLD award recipients and
Citizen Lawyer Award recipients.
For the December 2020-January 2021 Journal, we are publishing an
article from Jack Whitehead on the 100 Black Men of Baton Rouge
Chapter in “Lawyers Give Back” Section of the LBJ. More attorneys to
feature in either the “Lawyers Give Back” and “Quality of Life” Sections
of the Journal were requested at the Editorial Board meeting on 1-21-
21 and on 8-27-21. Discussions are ongoing.
Press releases were sent on 5-20-21 to outside media recognizing the
YLD award winners/finalists following the Louisiana Young Lawyers
Conference.
Press releases will be sent on 6-10-21 to outside media recognizing
new LSBA officers and BOG members and YLD officers and Council
members, as well as winners of all Annual Meeting-related awards.

new LSBA officers and BOG members and YLD officers and Council
members, as well as winners of all Annual Meeting-related awards.
Goal 6: The LSBA has the financial, governance and organizational
capacity to serve its vision.
■ The State Bar ensures that its financial, volunteer and staff resources are
aligned with its priorities.
▪ Pay close attention to the aging lawyer population and its impact on
both the profession and the LSBA; and
