covering topics including MeToo, technology competency, COVID-19
related paradigm shifts, virtual practice, The New Normal and
Mindfulness for Lawyers, Lawyer Wellness, and Professionalism
Basics, Stress and Overall Well-Being, Intellectual to Emotional, and
the Law School Professionalism Orientations.
A new round of authors is being scheduled for publications in the
coming year.
A new group of authors are in place for the coming year. In June-July
2021, we are publishing an article on virtual practice.
The new section, Practice Makes Perfect, will discuss Attorney-Client
Relationships in the February-March 2021 Journal. The April-May
2021 and the June-July 2021 issues are covering Conflicts of Interest
Part 1 and Part 2. The August-September 2021, October-November
2021 and the December 2021-January 2022 articles covered fees and
billing. The February-March 2022 article covers credit card payments.
The April-May 2022 article discussed Attorney-Client Relationships.
The June-July 2022 article discussed Law Office Procedures and
Training. The August-September 2022 article will discuss File
Management. The October-November 2022 article discusses Calendar
Control. The December 2022-January 2023 article discussed
Termination of Representation. The February-March 2023 article will
discuss Disaster Planning Basics.
Continue to administer the Transition Into Practice voluntary mentoring
program;
o Require a comprehensive meeting between mentors and
mentees to discuss in detail the Revised Code of
Professionalism
This item has been added to the TIP Handbook and LSBA staff
continues to administer the TIP program and the Mandatory
TIP program.
