on the activities of the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education (LCLCE). As set

VAL P. EXNICIOS Since our last report, the LCLCE completed updating the Judges/Lawyers in the
ALLISON C. FOSTER Classroom manual. This 231-page document was prepared by the Louisiana District
Judges Association in 2001. It is an invaluable resource for the Lawyers/Judges in the
C. KEVIN HAYES Classroom volunteers. The LCLCE continues its work on its database of attorneys and

JEFFREY D. HUFFT The LCLCE executive director attended the Louisiana Commission on Civic
HON. C. WENDELL MANNING Education’s Fall Meeting where the finalized civics education events calendar, prepared
by the LCLCE, was presented and will be hosted on the Commission’s website.

RYAN M. MCCABE The LCLCE Director has participated in several virtual board meetings with the
Louisiana Council for the Social Studies (LCSS). Plans are underway for the LCSS to

As of December 31, 2020, the LCLCE checking account balance was $267,548.12.
SHAYNA L. SONNIER Funds to assist with operational expenses were received and deposited from the
Louisiana Bar Foundation (IOLTA), LOCHEF (tobacco) and private contributions
PATRICK A. TALLEY, JR. received through the LSBA dues check-off option.
