G UIDLINES OF THE BOOK
Each chapter of the book is designed to align with students’
learning styles. The description of the sections in each chapter is
discussed below, focusing on contextual written language skills.
Chapter 1
This section is designed to start learning. Chapter 1 lays the
foundation for developing essential reading and writing skills,
guiding students through strategies that will enhance their
comprehension and expression in English. This chapter covers a
range of topics including reading and writing strategies, paraphrasing
techniques, understanding visual aids like diagrams and graphs, and
mastering various types of paragraphs and essays, such as narrative,
argumentative, expository, compare and contrast, and cause and
effect. By the end of this chapter, students will have a solid grasp
of these foundational skills, preparing them to tackle more complex
writing tasks with confidence.
Chapter 2
This section focuses on applying the reading and writing skills
learned in Chapter 1 through activities that cater to different types of
multiple intelligences. This chapter introduces students to exercises
and projects designed to align with their unique learning styles,
such as linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, and interpersonal
intelligences.
