Ginger Gilbert visits the overpass dedicated to her husband at Luke Air Force Base April 8. The over- pass was dedicated to Maj. Troy L. Gilbert, who died Nov. 27, 2006, when his F-16 Fighting Falcon crashed while he was providing close-air support to special operations forces about 40 miles north of Baghdad. Ginger travels the country speaking on behalf of the Folds of Honor Foundation, an organi- zation that raises money for scholarships for children of service members killed in action.

Nearly 300 Luke Airmen participated in Hands Across Luke, an event sponsored by the Sexual Assault and Prevention Office,
April 29. The event was accompanied by a moment of silence to recognize victims of sexual assault and designed to encourage and spread sexual assault awareness during the month of April, which is designated by the Defense Department as Sexual Assault Aware- ness Month.
