AV Fair and Event Center Exhibit Entry Guide 2020
SCOUTS
Entries Close: July 18th, 2020 – 5:00pm
OPEN TO ALL SCOUTS, ALL AGES
These divisions include: all Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts, Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadets, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts.
Entry Fee: $2.00 per entry per Individual class Exhibits Received: Saturday, Aug. 8th, 2 – 7 p.m. Location: Van Dam Building
Exhibits Released: Monday, Aug. 31st, 2 – 7 p.m.
PREMIUMS OFFERED PER CLASS: 1st- $5, 2nd- $3, 3rd- $1 DIVISION 1
Scout Individual
CLASS:
1. Knot Tying Board, 3-4 different knots.
2. Pinewood Derby Car
3. Sit Up on
4. S.W.A.P. Collections (no more than 5 per collection).
5. Gold and Eagle Awards.
OPEN TO ALL TROOPS
Many scouting troops have done amazing projects for our communities. Helping others in big and small ways is one of the best things about being in Scouts. Using photos, drawings, and words, tell us about your Troop’s most memorable service project of the year and why it was your favorite.
Entry Fee: $5.00 per entry for Troop class Exhibits Received: Saturday, Aug 8th , 2 – 7 p.m. Exhibits Released: Monday, Aug. 31st, 2 – 7 p.m.
PREMIUMS OFFERED PER CLASS: 1st- $20, 2nd- $15, 3rd- $10
RULES FOR DIVISION 2:
1. One entry per Troop
2. Gather photos or drawings on a mat board or poster board no larger than 16” x 20”. Be sure to leave enough space on the
board for a title and a 5”x 7” card describing your project and why it is your favorite.
3. On the front of the board, include ONLY your Troop number, level, and city. Do not includes names.
4. Identification must be securely attached to the back of each project. Include Troop number, Troop level, council name,
leader’s name, address, and phone number.
5. Entries that do not follow the guidelines as listed will be disqualified and will not be displayed. 6. Entries will be judged on Neatness, appearance, and meaningfulness.
