Medication Disposal Container at Satellite Pharmacy
Have you ever wondered how to get rid of the
medications sitting in your medicine cabinet that
are expired or that you no longer need? The 99th
Medical Group Pharmacy is excited to announce
that a MedSafe® medication disposal container
is installed and operational in the Nellis Air
Force Base Satellite Pharmacy lobby. Bring any
unneeded medications during normal operating
hours, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
except for holidays, Air Combat Command
family days, and training days. Drop them
directly into the container; no tickets or staff
involvement is needed. Please note liquids must
be tightly contained in a bottle, and the container
cannot accept syringes, needles, or illicit drugs
for safety reasons. Please take advantage of this
convenient and environmentally friendly way to
legally dispose of unneeded medications!
