2015 Navy Ball: Come join the Las Vegas Navy
Operational Support Center and the Navy

2015 Pumpkin Patrol: Volunteers are needed
for this year’s Pumpkin Patrol on Oct. 31 from
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Volunteers ensure trick-or-
treaters have a safe, memorable Halloween
experience in the Nellis AFB Housing areas.
Military, civilians and dependents are welcome.
The 99th Security Forces Squadron asks par-
ents of all trick-or-treaters to write a name and
number that a parent/guardian can be reached
(i.e. on a wristband or on the candy bag) to help
volunteers if the need arises. For more informa-

Volunteer opportunity at Lomie G. Heard
Elementary School: Lomie Heard PTA is seek-
ing 30 non-parent volunteers for our annual fall
festival. This year’s event will be held at Lomie
Heard Elementary School (main base behind the
gym). The event is FREE for all students and staff includes lunch and music!
and their families. Our goal is to staff the event
with non-parent volunteers so families can enjoy
the event together. Volunteers will assist with
carnival games, student check in and prizes.
There may be some light set up and clean up for
