Fort Irwin’s Joint Color Guard helped fans kick off their World Series experience in Los Angeles. Game No. 3 was the longest game in World Series (and post-season) history, with 18 innings over seven hours. Nine members of the National Training Center’s (NTC’s) joint color guard helped present the U.S. flag in ceremonies at Dodger Stadium.

Costumes and Candy come a week early at Fort Irwin
Military posts are unique, especially this one, because most fathers and/or mothers had to be away from their children on Halloween night, Oct. 31, due to monthly training rotations, so this military installation of 10,000 plus went trick-or-treating a week early, on Wednesday, Oct. 24, so children could participate with their parents.
