‘Old Glory’ flies free
during challenge

during the 9/11 Old Glory Challenge at Nellis Air Force
Base, Nev., Sept. 11. Participants of the challenge were
charged with continuously running with the American
flag in 30-minute increments from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The goal of the event was to remind participants of those
lost in defending freedom, the events of 9/11, and tell
the story of all who serve in defense of freedom.
