Luke Air Force Base Fire Prevention Week Oct. 8 through 14 2017 theme: ‘EVERY SECOND COUNTS’
Plan two ways out!
Oct. 9 through 13:
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Luke AFB commissary and Exchange
• Learn about smoke detectors, home escape plans, kitchen fires and how to use a fire extinguisher • Visit information booths, see videos and get fire prevention materials for all ages
• Get a photo taken with Sparky the Fire Dog, Buddy & Bubba (bring a camera)

Oct. 10 at noon at the 56th Force Support Squadron Youth Center Oct. 11 9:30 a.m. at the Luke Library
Oct. 12 9 a.m. at the Luke Child Development Center
Oct. 14:
9 a.m. Fire Truck Parade around base and base housing
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Open House at Fire Station No.1
• See Sparky the Fire Dog, Buddy & Bubba [bring a camera], visit with the firefighters, see fire trucks, play games
• Enjoy free hot dogs, sodas and cookies. Giveaways include coloring books, hats, potholders, water bottles and more
