PHASE 3: FOCUS YOUR ORGANIZATION
† Read through the 8 Elements of an MCI (Mission Critical Initiative). As you read, jot down any thoughts or notes that apply to your speci c MCI.
† Write out your MCI in one sentence. Put your MCI on your 11 x 17 One Page Roadmap. Be prepared to share this with the Recalibrate Cohort.
† Discuss with your MCI team the “3 MCI Game Changers”.
• Daily Progress. How can each of us move the ball forward every day?
• Weekly Accountability. When and where will your MCI meeting happen?
• Monthly Benchmarks. What are 3-5 benchmarks that we need to plan for?
PHASE 4: INFUSE CULTURAL CHANGE (5 LEADERSHIP MUSCLES)
† Read and research the story and history of your church. What are some values that have resonated deeply with your church over the years? Record in your Recalibrate Journal three to  ve values from the past that are non- Negotiables in your church today. (Leadership Muscle #1: Clarify Non- Negotiables)
† Open up a new digital  le and begin to craft a cultural lexicon. Write down words, phrases, metaphors, narratives, and stories that capture the kind of language you believe God wants to infuse into your church. (Leadership Muscle #2: Create a Cultural Lexicon)
† For three weekends in a row, celebrate a short-term win in your service. Do this during your message, worship time, or announcements. (Leadership Muscle #3: Celebrate Short-Term Wins)
† Watch the television show Shark Tank. In your Recalibrate Journal, write down what you learn about vision casting by watching the entrepreneurs cast their vision to the Sharks. (Leadership Muscle #4: Cast Clear Vision)
† For three weeks in a row after each Sunday create a “Continuous Improvements” list. Write down the things you will improve by next Sunday and do them. (Leadership Muscle #5: Champion Continuous Improvements)
