YOUTH PROGRAMMING MODIFICATIONS / PROTOCOL
· All staff and students will be required to stay home if not feeling well. Staff and students who appear
visibly ill may be asked to leave class.
· Class sizes will be reduced, and we will work in small, set groups of 8 or less. Groups will not be
interchanged or co-mingle.
· Participants will be required to have much of their own equipment; tennis racket, batting helmet,
glove, etc.
· Shared equipment will be minimized whenever possible and sanitized between classes.
· Class times will be adjusted to limit the amount of face to face contact when entering and exiting Youth Programs
class area.
· Where possible, separate entrances and exits will be utilized; ex. Andrews Park Tennis Courts.
· Students and staff will be required to sanitize upon entering class area. Staff will hand sanitize / hand
wash between classes.
· Families will be encouraged to limit spectators and send just 1 parent/guardian with the student
whenever possible. All will be encouraged to remain vigilant about social distancing.
· Poly-spots will be utilized as a visual to assist in social distancing during class.
· Between classes common surfaces (dug out benches, picnic tables) will be sanitized.
· Students will be expected to bring their own water bottle, to eliminate use of shared drinking
fountains.
· Staff will work diligently to minimize direct contact with participants.

to lessen contact between staff and participants.
