TEAM FOCUS - MARKETING TEAM
In each edition of 3D we will be taking a closer look at the teams within the Drinks Division to
find out more about who they are and what they do. In this edition we have provided an insight into our Drinks Marketing team based at Manderson House.
The 14 strong team cover our
total portfolio of branded and own label soft and alcoholic drinks. As well as ‘marketing’, the team are responsible for setting long term brand strategies, championing consumer insight, category management and bringing new products to market.
Frankie Severn
Frankie joined the bottlegreen team in Summer 2019 having previously worked in an Experiential Promotions agency. Regarded as bottlegreen’s resident cocktail guru, Frankie looks after bottlegreen’s PR, social media and the partnerships programme. Her favourite food is Heinz Tomato Soup and the love of her life is her dog, Rocky!
Lucy Wood
Having previously worked on O Water and Blossom Cottage, Lucy is now the Brand Manager for bottlegreen. Lucy brinks a wealth of knowledge to the role. When she first joined SHS she worked for bottlegreen! Lucy also has ‘green fingers’ and keeps 52 indoor plants which are named after the US states. Wyoming, a Cactus, is her favourite. Lucy makes a mean mojito and is known in the office for having a good supply of chocolate!
They ensure our products and communications to retailers and consumers are on brand, on time and relevant to the target audience. By working closely with the sales team, they determine customer needs and by tracking consumer’s interactions with our products, gain the insight needed to ensure we meet these needs.
Nick White
Nick joined SHS in March 2019 and heads up the Soft Drinks marketing team. His inspiration and role model is Guy Dodwell, Commercial Director. Nick’s continual focus on brand strategy ensures we set the right direction for our brands. In his spare time Nick enjoys listening to classical music and playing chess.
Ali Gray
Having been with the Group for over 15 years, Ali has worked across a number
of functions and all of our drinks brands. In her current role, working on our alcohol portfolio as Head of Brand, most of her time is spent on WKD. Ali’s role is to give brand direction to the team, as well as to look to future trends, to ensure WKD stays as relevant to our consumers in the future as it is today. Outside of work Ali spends as much time as possible swimming, running and cycling.
Laura Preston
Laura has worked at SHS for six years on all our brands and is responsible for activation in OOH, as well as supporting the latest innovation from WKD. Laura is the mother hen of the team and the ‘go to’ for mint tea, ready salted hula-hoops and jolly penguins. Let’s not forget her seriously strong eyebrows!
Matt Wakelin
Matt joined SHS nearly three years ago, working for 18 months on WKD before becoming Shloer’s Brand Manager. In his spare time Matt enjoys carpentry and cooking on his BBQ, which he uses four to five times per week, even through the winter! Brrrrr!
