  Return to the Office
It’s hard to believe we started our phased return to the office on 7th September only to find ourselves 3 weeks later, being told once again to work from home.
We very quickly embraced the agile working implemented at Manderson House and it has been lovely to have that buzz and the hum of chatter around the office again.
With the new instruction of ‘work from home’, we are keen to ensure that Spirit & culture continues and have therefore opted to keep the office open for anyone who wishes to work from
the office, it is still a COVID secure space and we will welcome anyone
who wants to come
in, providing they have their line managers sign off.

 Spotlight Sessions
The Group recently launched a new ‘In the Spotlight’ series. Sessions are designed to provide an insight into each of our Group Divisions, brands and people.
The first in the series
featured Paul Fraser, Managing Director of the 3V business. Paul shared an overview of the business and discussed the Meridian & Rocks brands.
The second featured Matt Tomlinson, Managing Director of the Standard Brands business. Matt provided an overview of his business, Zip firelighter ignition range and private label offering. The first two sessions are available to watch on demand via the Larder.
           Learning Framework
     Learning Framework
It’s hard to believe that we’re almost at the end of our training calendar for this year. We delivered all our workshops virtually, which was a new experience for all of us, and it proved to be a great success. Not only did we have the highest attendance rate per workshop, but the feedback from participants was excellent. They really enjoyed learning with other colleagues from across the Group. Demand was such that we had to organise an additional 6 workshops. One of the most popular workshops this year was around Leadership Accountability and Personal Accountability which was attended by 105 delegates!

  ONLINE ACADEMY FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
 ONLINE ACADEMY
SHS Academy
To support our blended learning approach we launched our online academy earlier this year and assigned some short ‘taster’ courses to all employees. Thanks to all those that completed within the given timescale. This is a great opportunity to learn at your own pace and at a time convenient for you.
Now that all of the mandatory courses have been completed, we’re starting to assign further courses that have been requested by employees. Please remember to log on regularly and view your Learning Plan to complete any outstanding courses.
Watch out for some new courses available on next year’s Learning & Development Calendar.
