Leadership Jefferson Class XIV

The Leadership Jefferson Class had the Community Service Module
in March. The class started their day at Charles Town Presbyterian

Church with a breakfast and an overview of Meals on Wheels with

Beverly Ryan. After breakfast, the class walked to Jefferson County
Community Ministries where Executive Director Bob Shefner told

the class about the programs offered at the ministries. During

lunch at Tee Dawg’s BBQ a panel discussion was held on Becoming/

Being a Valuable Board Member. After lunch, the class went to the
Jefferson County Health Department for a tour. The next stop was

Briggs Animal Adoption Center with an information session with

Education Director Hayley Miller. The day concluded at the
Jefferson Day Report Center with Executive Director Ronda Eddy

who went over the services offered.
