2020 Rules
Breaking Board Contest 2020 GA Martial Arts
2020 GA Martial Arts
Breaking will be judged on:
1. Accuracy – Breaking on the first attempt is superior to breaking on the second attempt.
2. Presentation – competitor balance, rhythm, good manner and ki-hap (yelling) from entrance to
the completion of the performance are superior for the competitor score.
Number of boards: up to total 4 boards (black belts), up to total 3 boards (color belts)
No more than 1 minute to set up and break
The clock starts when the competitor steps into the competition area.
Only competition designated holders are allowed to hold for breaking.
No speed breaks will be allowed
Jumping over people will not be allowed.
Breaking with the head will not be allowed.
Team Demo
Team Demo Rehearsal must be finished at 9:00am Demo competition will start promptly at 9:00am.
Team must consist of 12 or more people.
Performance cannot last longer than 6 minutes
(At 5 minutes there will be a 1 minute warning flag raised. If the Demo exceeds 6 minutes the
team will receive point deductions.)
Referees will be judged on presentation, teamwork, rhythm, good manner, and entertainment.
ALL DEMO TEAM MEMBERS MUST REGISTER TO COMPETE IN
AN INDIVIDUAL EVENT
Team Form
All Teams must be 3 - 5 People, Age groups will be 7 Years old & Under, 8~9
Years Old, 10-14 Years Old, 15 - 18 Years Old, 19 & Up, Family Form and School Team
(8 People up)
No Creative Form
ALL TEAM FORM MEMBERS MUST REGISTER TO COMPETE IN
AN INDIVIDUAL EVENT
Regulations and modified rules of the World Tae Kwon Do (WT) will govern these Championships
for the sparring and traditional forms divisions.
Forms Competition will be open forms for all.
