As an incoming freshman, what was
your concern about high school
athletics? Did it happen?
As a coach, one of the things I see
incoming players struggle to deal
with is confidence. It can be a big
jump to playing with other athletes
who are 2,3 even 4 years older. A lot
of times they are concerned with
making friends, fitting in, new
coaches. Below you will see a
variety of concerns that these
athletes had, and how most of these
never materialized.
I'll end my section with one of my
favorite quotes. "Worry is a down
payment on a problem you may
never have!"
