Sure enough. Frank's Merc, at the head of a line of
bubbletops stretching across the horizon, is ripping
towards the main gates to the air base.
ROCKLAND AIR FORCE BASE FRONT GATES - NIGHT
The guardhouse is deserted, but the crossing bar is down.
Frank's Merc just drives right through it.
INT. LEAD HIGHWAY PATROL CAR - NIGHT
The DRIVER is sweating now, his PARTNER has the rifle
in his arms.
DRIVER
: Shit! He's gone on the base! Where the hell are
the guards ?!
PARTNER
: Federal property ?? We ain't got jurisdiction.
