The ski-masked Leader looks up from his map, slams the 

dash and points to the house numbered which is now 


numbered "339."



IN THE BEDROOM - MAJOR FAULKNER'S OFF-BASE 

HOUSE - DAY



The room's a shambles. Major Faulkner, now dressed in 

civilian clothes, is making a hasty departure, stuffing 

papers into a briefcase.



Hearing the Hummer, he hesitates, goes to the window, 

and carefully lifts one slat of the Venetian blinds.



The Hummer has stopped in front of the nearly identical 

house up the street.



The Swat Team, with phony POLICE emblems on their 

bullet- proof vests, dismount and charge across his 


neighbor's well-cut lawn.




MAJOR FAULKNER: Drops the slat in panic.


IN BUD MULLIGAN'S HOUSE - DAY



BUD is setting up decorations in the over-furnished living 


room. HAPPY BIRTHDAY is spelled out over the fireplace 

on strings of alphabet letters, which Bud is duct-taping to 

the wall of family photos.



Across the room, his four-year-old daughter TERRY is 

climbing up the stairs with a string of balloons.



TERRY: I'll put in the plug, Daddy!



Bud perilously turns on creaky ladder, sees his kid near
