SORKIN'S POV SHOOTING THROUGH THE WINDOW:
Flying inches higher than the steeple of the base chapel is
an old F-14 Tomcat screaming louder than a million
eagles and heading directly for the window.
Gen. Sorkin pushes back his chair involuntarily.
MAJ. GEN. SORKIN: What in God's Name!?
NIGHT SKY OUT THE WINDOW: The Tomcat veers up.
Gen. Sorkin runs over to see for himself.

In what appears to be a one-plane air show, the F-14
Tomcat of Ace Yeager is shooting straight up towards the
stars above in a fierce display of thundering rage.
Now, almost out of sight, the plane arcs and drops back,
then spirals and falls towards the base below at a
screaming pitch, almost as if it's going to crash right into
