NIGHT

Frank bursts through the door into the long corridor lit by

old-fashioned overhead lights. Behind him, SHOUTS

AND FOOTSTEPS.

FRANK SPOTS:

A BROOM: Propped up against a partly open janitor's

closet.

Frank goes for it.

FRANK'S POINT OF VIEW:

A DEAD JANITOR inside the hall closet.

Frank grabs the broom, starts down the hall, breaking the

overhead lights as he goes, plunging the hall into

darkness.

THE RANGERS ARRIVE, enter cautiously.

THEIR POINT OF VIEW:

A long empty hall.

A DOOR OPENS AT THE FAR END:

The Rangers freeze at the sight of a rifle barrel emerging

from the open door.

The Rangers drop and open fire.

SERGEANT MORRISON:

Standing in the base kitchen side door, returns the fire

with his own weapon, not knowing this is "friendly fire."

THE KITCHEN DOOR: Pocked with bullets.
