FRANK: The hardened cop almost feels sorry for this guy

Frank goes after his Merc while General Yeager takes off

in the opposite direction, firing as he goes, drawing the

SHOOTER'S FIRE away from Frank.

A HALF-TRACK WITH SHARPSHOOTERS appears

almost from nowhere bearing down on General Yeager,

guns blazing.

General Yeager calmly kneels while bullets kick dirt all

around him and fires round after calculated round.

CLOSE ON: GENERAL YEAGER

He possesses the same serenity he had in the cockpit. We

do not need to see the targets to know the accuracy.

SUDDENLY EXPLOSIONS all around him as a Kelly

Tank emerges from behind the Chapel, firing its grenade

launcher on the General.

INT. KELLY TANK: Lt. Albany spins the steering wheel.
