ATHENA WIN Girls' Night Out
n May 3, ATHENA WIN (Women's Interest Network) held a Girls' Night Out event at The Plant Professionals,
located at 16886 Turner Rd, Lansing. The women attending were able to create beautiful flower
Oarrangements while networking and sharing laughs together. Kathy Valentine, president of The Plant
Professionals and Deb Ottinger, floral designer, were on hand to help with the arrangements and educate
the group on all things floral. It was a full-circle ATHENA Lansing evening, as Kathy was the very first ATHENA
PowerLink recipient in 2006! It was great to see first-hand how that program strengthened her professional
development and helped the company grow into the business it's become today! l
