PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2
TO GOD: Father, thank you for this wonderful promise, to be our refuge and fortress. Please forgive us when we forget to be grateful.
FOR THE CHURCH: Heavenly Father, thank you that we can find refuge under your wings; your faithfulness will be our shield and rampart (Psalm 91:4).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, we pray for the theatres of war where other countries fight ideological battles at the cost of innocent people, especially in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Gaza.
FOR OUR NATION: Worry and anxiety plague our nation. May those struggling, especially our children, receive effective help and find their refuge in you.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may our lives be ‘living epistles’ (2 Corinthians 3:2) causing us to be peacemakers, not peacebreakers!
FOR MYSELF: Father, forgive me when I refuse your yoke and decline the rest you offer. Today, I choose once more to make you my refuge and fortress.
PRAYER
Father may all those attending Mulberry House, sense an awareness of your Holy Spirit. AMEN.
