God’s grace, His unmerited favour, is one of the major themes throughout both the Old and New Testaments. In the Old Testament, it is often concealed, yet nonetheless there. In
with “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (1 Corinthians 16:23). Strong’s Concordance puts it this way, “Grace is the Lord's favour – freely extended to give Himself away to people”. Praise the Lord!
Whatever circumstances you may be facing,
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14).

GOD’S GRACE
the New Testament, it is personified in Jesus, who was announced as one “filled with grace and truth” (John 1:14). The Apostle Paul takes things to a whole new level, born out of his amazing conversion (Acts 9) and then expounded in his letters.
As a young Christian, the message of God’s grace was central to many of the hymns we used to sing. One such hymn was “Saved by grace alone”.
The third verse reads, “Grace taught my wandering feet to tread the heavenly road; and new supplies each hour I meet, while pressing on to God. Saved by grace alone! This is all my plea: Jesus died for all mankind, and Jesus died for me.” It is our sincere prayer, as you read this edition and pray, you will receive ‘new supplies each hour’. Amen!
Returning to Paul, in many of his letters he opens and closes with a message of grace. Even in his first letter to the Corinthian church, knowing he had hard things to share, he commences, “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:3) and closes
