PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“How much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him“ Matthew 7:11
TO GOD: Father, we thank you because you so loved, you gave your only Son, Jesus. I take this moment to worship you.
FOR THE CHURCH: Thank you, that we were saved to be filled with the Holy Spirit, so that we might bear witness and worship you with all of our hearts.
FOR THE WORLD: Heavenly Father, we pray for countries in conflict and for aid agencies seeking to provide help. Lord, we pray for those who mourn, the wounded, displaced and traumatised.
FOR OUR NATION: We live in a dry and thirsty land, Lord, may ‘rivers flow among barren hills and springs of water run in the valleys’ (Isaiah 41:18)
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, for those people needing help today, please put their names on my heart.
FOR MYSELF: Lord Jesus, I thank you that you have given me all I need to live a Godly life (2 Peter 1:3). May I use this gift for your glory. Amen.
