LET US PRAY...
When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?”
For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the
bread the Lord has given you to eat.” Exodus 16:15 NCT PRAYER
TO GOD: Father, thank you for your grace and your power, freely given yet so costly. We praise you that your glory is made known in and through redemption. May we live for the ‘praise of your glory’ (Ephesians 1:6).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may we, like Paul, hear your voice so that we can pray according to your will. May we be swift to listen and slow to speak, both in life and prayer.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, you have saved us to be salt and light in the world. May we be a ‘proximity people’, close enough to bring savour and dispel darkness.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, we are called for such a time as this. May we seek opportunities to proclaim, bind up, release, comfort, bestow and restore (Isaiah 61:1-3), all in the name of Jesus.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, as we bring named friends before you, may your amazing grace saturate their minds and hearts, bringing peace.
FOR MYSELF: Father, here I am! Please change me from one degree of glory to another and use me in the week to come. Amen.
